Summary of Program: SEAMAAC’s Hip Hop Heritage (H3) program is an afterschool and summer program for low-income Philadelphia students in grades 7 – 12. H3 uses project-based learning with the core strategy in arts, visual, performing, and media production. The focus is on building youth skills in hip hop, including instruction in breakdancing, graffiti, and leadership through a lens of civic engagement, cultural heritage and social justice.
